From Mike Lee in Gaming, Austria:

Zach plays Macbeth, and

and Zeke is doing his best to turn proud papa into fawning jelly. Perhaps this is one way we can come close to understanding what God meant when He told Paul "My power is made perfect in weakness."

Mike writes:

I am on spring break this next week. I am ready for a bit of a breather. It has been a crazy semester between the difficulty of understanding Aristotle and having a new baby in the house. I was able to not even miss a single class after the baby was born. It was exhausting but necessary. In the seminar style of teaching, the majority of the learning happens outside of the class when reading the classical texts. The texts are discussed and broken down during the class. One simply cannot afford to miss a single class. This semester I will finish up reading the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church; Prior Analytics, Posterior Analytics, The Topics, Metaphysics, and Nicomachean Ethics all by Aristotle; Selections from the Commentary on the Metaphysics and Expositio Libri Posteriorum by St. Thomas Aquinas; the Pentateuch (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy); and a bunch of Church history. Whew….it gives the brain a mighty workout. It is such a blessing!!

Mike and Deb still need your help. see the post Idaho Hicks in Austria for an opportunity for a spot of Lenten almsgiving.
