St Benedict Lodge is a retreat facility in the Cascades that is owned and operated by the Dominican Friars of the Western Province.

The child, who does not think about so serious a thing as health, dreams of meals that are made up of desserts. Men and women, who do not think about so serious a thing as living, dream of a life that consists only of sweetness, soft music and rest to the echo of applause and gently sympathetic understanding. We do need men, to be men of faith that will stand against the type of feminism that seeks to make women men and men women. They fear to say what is true what it takes to save souls. Stand up and be a man.
